RBI National Team Coaching Staff
Selected by MLB's Commissioner's Office to serve as a member of the coaching staff for the RBI National Team. Also chosen to serve on the Selection Committee for the Junior National Team, whose players represented the United States in the Junior Olympics.
International Guest Instructor
Invited to conduct coaching clinics and instruction for the National Baseball Team of Spain in Barcelona (2006) and the Houston Astros Baseball Academy in San Pedro, Dominican Republic (2008). Also called upon by the City of Houston to conduct coaching seminars and baseball clinics.
CEO & Founder
Founded CAAPS School of Baseball and developed THE EDGE Baseball Skill Development System, a proprietary methodology built around strength, speed, agility, quickness, fielding, throwing, and the mechanics of hitting. Authored 75+ volumes of coaching curriculum used across amateur baseball. Trained over 200 athletes to earn college scholarships. THE EDGE Baseball Skill Development System
Martin Stringer is the architect of THE EDGE Baseball Skill Development System, a comprehensive model built around one principle: athleticism and skill can be systematically developed, measured, and improved.
The system concentrates on boosting and enhancing the strength, speed, agility, and quickness of the baseball athlete across all facets of the game. Components include mechanical fielding fundamentals, throwing mechanics, and what Martin calls "the absolutes of hitting," a structured approach to swing development that has produced results at every level from youth to professional.
THE EDGE is currently used by Premier Baseball of Texas in Tomball, TX, and Team Houston in Conroe/The Woodlands, TX. It served as the official development program for Katy National Little League for 10 consecutive years, used for both coaches training and player development.
